Scope
This assignment is the Quantum Chamber as spacetime. The vessel is treated as a place where events have world-lines. Geometry is drawn, not described at length. The empirical view — plasma as a photographable glow-discharge — is later on the studio schedule. It is not the work of this sheet.

The vessel as spacetime
Inside the chamber, a trail is not a decoration. It is a history: a sequence of events through the same small world. What the quantum view shows as a dotted persistence is, in Minkowski language, a world-line. Slide “now.” Only the events on that slice are present.

The world-line experiment
The world-line experiment is the studio test. A line in spacetime can be turned until the front view is a point. That collapse is old-school descriptive geometry applied to time. Play the handshake. When the line becomes a dot, duration is still real — it is only hidden from that view.

The cone instead of the compass
On a ct–x plate the absolute figure is the light cone, not the Euclidean circle. Time-like paths stay inside. Light rides the generators. Space-like intervals cannot be walked. This is the rule-sheet the chamber’s motion has to obey if time is a drawn dimension.

Two events
Two events determine an interval. The sign of ds² says what kind of separation they are. Place the events. The plate tells you whether a signal, a walk, or only a comparison is possible.

Where the method comes from
Monge taught recovery of a solid from plan and elevation. The same habit, with a different metric, is what the world-line experiment asks of spacetime. The school sheet is here so the handshake is not a trick: it is a construction.
